Unvented & Vented Hot Water Systems
We are able to provide and install both unvented and vented hot water systems. Our team of professionals will be able to recommend the best option for you.
Unvented hot water systems source their supply of water from cold-water mains. This provides you with hot water at cold water pressure. This is an ideal option for anyone who desires high pressure showers or quick running baths. It is also ideal for anyone who doesn’t already have a cold-water storage tank or doesn’t have the space to install a cold-water storage tank. Generally speaking, the water used in unvented water systems is heated with an immersion system via central heating.
Vented hot water systems are a more traditional option. They have a storage tank which heats and stores water, which can then be released when the hot tap is run. Often, the storage tank can be found in the loft of a property, or the airing cupboard of properties such as flats and apartments. A vented hot water system is good for anyone looking to
cut costs, as it is a cheaper heating system due to the materials and technology behind them being simpler. If water pressure is important to you though, a vented system may be a better option.
